WASHINGTON - A top advisor to President-elect Barack Obama says the slowing economy won't keep the new administration from fulfilling its plans for a middle-class tax cut. Obama advisor David Axlerod says it's important to get money in people's pockets. But Axlerod also told NBC's "Meet the Press" that the administration still plans to let President George W. Bush's tax cuts expire. Axlerod says those tax cuts skew to the wealthy, and "it's something we plainly can't afford."...
